2008 Operation S.O.S
(support our soldiers)
For 2008 the Pa Disciples of Justice in Central PA are mounting a campaign to provide needed/wanted items to our PA troops in Iraq and Afghanistan.
 The Campaign kicked off in April will include collecting donations at various local events throughout the riding season and culminating in a ride on August 16, 2008. All proceeds will be used to purchase and mail requested items to our troops on the ground. Our goal is to start sending out packages by or before Memorial Day weekend.
Check back here for more details as they are available to help provide an important support from home for those fighting on our behalf.
PA Disciples in Central PA Events
Congratulations to Tim Manwiller and his wife on the arrival of their new baby girl born today 8/18 at 12:23 pm, at 7 lbs 14 ozs.
Sunday Aug 24 Meeting 3 pm
This will be our August meeting. We will meet at Pope's at 3. We have important business to complete. Response to the email was small but all positive so the meeting is set. See you there. Contact Rick with any questions. Directions
Sat. Sept 6 Patriot Ride
The ride stages and ends at the Campbelltown Fire Company. The ride benefits the Fire Company and Disabled American Vets. See the events page. We will meet at 9 am at the Rising Sun in Campbelltown and ride in together for those interested in riding.
The Backyard Bash is Still on!

September 27, GOH Ride for the Heroes
There is an effort underway to raise funds for a memorial to honor fallen warriors and place it at the Pennsylvania Military Museum at Boalsburg. All proceeds from this ride, including shirt sales, will be donated directly to the Pa National Guard Foundation for the Memorial Fund. For more info and registration forms check out the events page

The Disciples Participate
in "Rolling Thunder"
The Disciples were proud to participate in "Rolling Thunder" on Sun. 5/25 in Washington, D.C..
This year we had 52 riders participating with us. It was a great day. The weather was superb and we were afforded vip placement at the pentagon again thanks to the efforts of our friends from national, and Bob Straining. Thanks to those of you who have submitted pics from the ride. We hope to have them up in the gallery soon. We also hope to have video of the day. Check back soon.
